In January 2010, Linnie Haynesworth was appointed to the position of vice president and NPOESS deputy program director for Northrop Grumman.  In this key role, Linnie will be responsible for focusing on execution of this critical, dynamic  $5+B program with particular emphasis on ensuring constant, effective communication with customer and internal executive leadership as it relates to program performance, risk management, cost and schedule milestones and other key deliverables.

Linnie has over thirty years of engineering, business development and program management experience in Space and Ground Systems.   Her experience covers a broad set of activities which include leadership positions in: software development, system engineering, program management, business development, hardware development, technical subcontract management and functional management. She has experience with government, commercial and international partnerships, and customer relationship management. Her prior assignments include Program Manager of the Battlefield Combat Identification System and the Director of the 1200 person Engineering Centers within the Systems Development Operations of the Command, Control and Intelligence Division at NGIS (prior NGMS).

Linnie graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.  Her continuing education in program management has included the African-American Leadership Program at the UCLA Anderson School of Business and the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.  Linnie has also completed Northrop Grumman’s Leading1.
