Welcome!

The countdown has begun for the 2010 NSBE Aerospace Systems Conference!  Join us in Los Angeles February 5-10, 2010, for a technical journey thorough the disciplines of aeronautics and astronautics.  As the time of this conference approaches, this website will be populated with additional information.

The conference theme, “New Horizons…New Destinations…New Discoveries” references the great spirit of adventure that lies within the aerospace industry and the constant opportunity to fly higher, explore further, and create that which has never been before.  In all sectors of aeronautics and astronautics, opportunities abound, from new aircraft, upgrades to existing aircraft, to space missions that have been dreamed of for decades.  We challenge you to constantly push yourself to live and work on the cutting edge of these opportunities and we invite you to experience the sense of “newness” that these developments bring.

Our vision for the NSBE Aerospace Systems Conference is over 500 of the best and brightest African American minds in aerospace -  a historic gathering of engineers, scientists, managers, and professors.  This conference is your forum for the exchange of technical ideas, to showcase your company or agency’s new developments, to benchmark and share best practices.

Please familiarize yourself with conference content as it becomes available and share news of this conference with peers and co-workers.  I hope to have you with us in Los Angeles in 2010!

Sincerely,

Robert L. Howard, Jr., Ph.D.
Chairperson, 2010 Aerospace Systems Conference
