The 2010 NSBE Aerospace Systems Conference will be held at the LAX Sheraton Gateway. This hotel is located immediately adjacent to LAX Airport and offers free shuttle transportation to / from the airport. The hotel features extensive meeting space and luxurious guest rooms.
The LAX Sheraton has hosted numerous aerospace industry conferences as well as Region 6 conferences.
NSBE has secured a rate of $119 per night, with 14.065% tax - a significant discount from regular Sheraton rates. Please act now to reserve your hotel room for this historic event!
Conference dates are February 5-10. However, because activities on February 10 run into the evening, we have extended our special rate of $119 through February 11 for any attendees who wish to stay an additional day to relax and enjoy the Los Angeles area before departing. Guest room registration is open from September 14, 2009 through February 25, 2010.
Reserve your guest room by clicking this link: ASC Hotel Reservations. This is a custom Sheraton link - you may not be able to access our rates from the general Sheraton website.
CAUTION: The hotel reservation system is often incorrectly stating the room block is full. This appears to be occuring on requests that include February 3, 4, or 11. If this happens to you, try adjusting your dates until it accepts your reservation and then email NSBE-ASC Hotel Liaison, Lisa Valle, at

. Give her your name, dates reserved, and the dates you want reserved. She can correct your reservation accordingly. The hotel block is not full, no matter what error messages you receive.
If you prefer to reserve by phone, the reservations agents may only recognize the conference (and associated rates) if you describe the group as: "NSBE Aerospace", or "2010 NSBE Aerospace", or "National Society of Black Engineers." They may not be able to pull up the rates otherwise. However, make sure to give them the date range if they seem to be experiencing problems.
