CALL FOR PARTICIPATION

2010 NSBE Aerospace Systems Conference
February 5-10, 2010, Los Angeles, CA, USA

The NSBE Aerospace Systems Conference (NSBE ASC) is a forum for dissemination and technical exchange of information on technologies, applications, and developments in aeronautical and space industries or disciplines. It is organized by the Aerospace and Space Special Interest Groups of the National Society of Black Engineers Alumni Extension to provide a unique opportunity for networking and technical exchange among professionals and post-graduates and their contemporaries and leaders in the aerospace systems field.

Location:

NSBE ASC 2010 will be held at the Sheraton Gateway Los Angeles hotel in the city of Los Angeles, California, a cultural mecca boasting hundreds of ethnic communities and museums, year-round perfect weather, and distinction as the entertainment capital of the world. LA has been a popular location for both NSBE and aerospace focused conference venues, including AIAA, Space Frontier Foundation, IEEE, and more. It is the metropolitan heart of Southern California, an aerospace hub for decades as a leading region for aerospace research, development, and production. The region is home to many leading aerospace companies, two NASA field centers, worldclass universities, and aerospace focused military bases such as Edwards Air Force Base and the Los Angeles Air Force Base in El Segundo, the “Aerospace Capital of the World.”

Content:

Technical papers cover aerospace and related topics spanning the ten tracks listed below. Papers will cover theories, methodologies, designs, products, systems and applications.  Content includes status, developments, or results of ongoing/recent projects and missions, studies related to planned missions, concepts and technologies related to future missions, as well as important industry initiatives, trends, and program milestones.
